Celebrating 30 Years in Business Amid a Pandemic

In 2021 Swan Analytical Instruments is pleased to mark another milestone, our 30th anniversary. We had hoped to host an open house and event to celebrate with all those who have supported us during the years. Unfortunately, due to ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, we cannot celebrate with you in person as originally planned. Nonetheless, this does not mean that we cannot mark this achievement.

The world has changed dramatically in the last 30 years, presenting plenty of challenges and opportunities.
The year 1991 saw a number of innovations.

• International communication enters a new era with the first GSM call
• The internet moves beyond a novelty for tech people as the World Wide Web came to life with the first website
• The water quality industry welcomes a new player as Swan launches its first product, the Chematest

While the last one may not have had the global impact of those first two groundbreaking innovations, we are proud of our growth and contributions to our industries. Over the past 30 years we have developed over more than 150 instruments covering over 20 parameters including major innovations like the following:

• Opening a total of 15 subsidiaries covering Asia, Americas, Africa, Europe and Middle East
• Expanding and modernizing the factory and offices at the headquarters
• Sustaining the balance between manufacturing high-end products and keeping them affordable
• Innovation of non-contact nephelometer – AMI Turbiwell
• Online organic carbon monitoring – AMI SAC254
• World's first online analyser using electrodeionization to continuously, automatically regenerate resin - AMI CACE

The pandemic has left us with many uncertainties and unanswered questions. Nevertheless, no matter what challenges await us Swan Analytical Instruments is ready and excited to take on these new challenges that we will face in the future. However, for now, expect a monthly surprise from us showcasing behind the scenes information, products and innovations about Swan.

Happy 30th anniversary Swan Analytical Instruments. We want to take this moment to thank all the amazing employees behind the brand, our business partners who have supported us continuously and of course thank you to each and every customer who has supported us.

We look forward to future anniversaries where we can celebrate safely together.

Keep safe and all the best,
Lukas Staub, Group CSO

AMI Turbiwell - Potable Water Treatments

Simplify your turbidity measurements with our AMI Turbiwell analyzer!

Our AMI Turbiwell provides a non-contact nephelometric system for automatic and continuous measurement of turbidity in potable water - as per ISO 7027/EPA 180.1. By using a non-contact turbidimeter the optical elements are not in direct contact with the sampling. Therefore, no fouling occurs.
